About the Pavlodar region Akimat

The oblast is located in the northern –eastern part of the republic witht he area of 124,8 thssq. km. The oblast center is Pavlodar city. The distance from Pavlodar to Astana – 438 km. Thereare10 rural regions, 3 towns, 4 villages, 169 rural districts.

The oblast is a big industrial region in the republic. Its biggest absolute weight in GRP is industry (39,8%),agriculture  – 5,9%.

The oblast share in manufacturing industry in the republic  is11,9% (2 place after Karaganda oblast). It is dominated with production of interim products (aluminum, clay, ferroalloy, energy) with absolute weight 90%.
