Kazakhstan Ministry of Public Health (www.mz.gov.kz) is the central executive body in the field of protection of public health, medical and pharmaceutical science, medical and pharmaceutical education, sanitary and epidemiological well-being of the population, circulation of medicines, medical devices and medical equipment, quality control of medical services.

Implemented programs:

- "Salamatty Kazakhstan" state program on healthcare development in Kazakhstan for 2011-2015;

- Program on development of cancer care in Kazakhstan for 2012-2016.

Born on October 18, 1971 in Zhambyl oblast, the Kazakh, higher education, graduate of the Almaty State Medical Institute, majoring in Medical care (1994), the Arizona State University (Intensive Therapy and Toxicology), the Russian Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education, Management in Healthcare ( 2001), University Hospital Charité, Berlin, Germany, Management of hospital affairs (2006), the Turan University, majoring in Economics (2008), Duke University, Fuqua School of Business, USA, Master's Global Executive MBA (2013), doctor of medical Sciences and Master of Business Administration.

He began his career after graduating in 1991 as a nurse in the department of psychoneurology (CCCH), intensive care and resuscitation, toxicology of the Emergency hospital in the city of Almaty.

In 1991-1994 he worked as a nurse in the department of psychoneurology (CCCH), intensive care and resuscitation, toxicology of the Emergency hospital in the city of Almaty.

In 1994-1998 - the physician-toxicologist, resuscitator, Head of Information and Advisory toxicology Centre of the Emergency hospital;

In 1998-1999 - head of the Almaty City poison control center;

In 1999-2005 - the head of the Republican Center of Toxicology, the chief toxicologist Ministry of Healthcare;

In 2000-2008 - Head, lecturer of Clinical Toxicology Almaty State Postgraduate Medical Institute;

In 2006-2008 - Director of State Enterprise "Scientific Center for medical and economic health issues";

From March 2008 to August 2008 - Advisor to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

From August 2008 to December 2008 - Deputy Chairman of the Board of JSC "National Medical Holding";

Since December 2008 to April 2010 - Vice-minister of Healthcare of the RK;

From April 2010 to December 2012 - Chairman of the Board of JSC "National Medical Holding";

From December 2012 to March 2014 - Advisor to the Chairman of the Executive Board of AEO "Nazarbayev University";

From April 2014 to November 2015 - Chairman of the Board of LLP "Center for support of public-private partnership projects";

From November 2015 to January 2017 – Vice-minister of Health and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

From January 25, 2017 was appointed as the Minister of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

He fluently speaks in Kazakh, Russian and English languages.
