About the Ministry of Information and Communications

The Ministry of Information and Communications of the Republic of Kazakhstan (http://mic.gov.kz/) is a state body of the Republic of Kazakhstan that carries out management in the fields of communication, information system development, "e-government" and information.

Dauren Abayev was born in 1979 in Almaty region. In 2001 he graduated from the Kazakh State National University named after Al-Farabi, in 2014 - Eurasian Humanitarian Institute. 

From August 2001 to August 2003 he worked in the central apparatus of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

From May 2003 to May 2007 he worked in the diplomatic service at the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Azerbaijan and the Kingdom of the Netherlands.

From May 2007 to December 2007 - Head of the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan. 

Since December 2007 to December 2008 - Chief Expert, Advisor of the President of the Protocol of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

From December 2008 to October 2009 - Vice-President of the Press Secretary of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Since October 2009 - State Inspector of the Department of state control and organizational work of the Territorial Administration of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

On October 2011 by the Order of the Head of State he was appointed as Press Secretary of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. 

On July 2013 by the presidential decree he was appointed as adviser to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - the Press Secretary of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

He has the diplomatic rank - the first secretary of the I class.

He speaks Kazakh, Russian and English.

He was awarded the "Kurmet" order.
